Join us at Botanica on Bowen in Waiuku for a relaxed and creative night where you’ll learn how to:

• Handcraft your own natural fragranced beeswax candle
• Create a kokedama – a Japanese moss ball plant to brighten your home or gift to someone special

What you’ll learn and make:

Fragranced Beeswax Candles

You’ll learn how to natural beeswax with high quality fragrances to create a beautifully scented candle. We’ll guide you through choosing your fragrance, prepping your wick, and pouring your candle into a stylish vessel. Beeswax burns cleanly, lasts longer than other waxes, and has a gentle honey aroma even on its own.

Kokedama (Moss Ball Planting)

Kokedama is a Japanese planting technique where the roots of a plant are wrapped in a ball of soil and moss, creating a beautiful sculptural piece of living art. You'll learn how to shape and bind the moss ball and how to care for your kokedama at home. These make gorgeous gifts or unique home décor pieces.

Whether you're a total beginner or love getting creative, this night class is a perfect way to unwind, learn something new, and go home with two handmade botanical creations.
